Meowth, one of the most successfully domesticated pokemon in the world.

Meowth are highly intelligent creatures and very intuitive. In the wild they have sophisticated vocal patterns similar to language. scientists have only recently began studying this, one scientist even beleives that meowths and some other pokemon species could even learn human languages, however these have been noted as merly theory and has no real proof to this as yet.
it has been proven however that due to the flexibility of their spine they can actually walk on their hind legs, this is rare in the wild but many have been trained to do so in captivity.

They have a flat almost metalic looking emblem on their forhead, it is used for attacting mates. Both male and females use them, and the fresher and healthier the cat is the nicer the emblum looks, meaning they can distingush whether or not the other will be a good mate. Almost like a natural mood ring. There is aslo a scent pad on the emblum along with two more on their cheeks, they use this to identify each other and mark terratory by rubbing their cheeks or forhead on things in their terrotory to tell other cats that its their patch. Also they can tell the differnce between each other by the dark patches on their fur as they can vary in shade and pattern.

Meowths in many ancient cultures were seen as devine creatures and they were worshiped. Even now our money is based apon the embolems on their forheads, thats why meowths are also called 'money cats'.

They have six strong, long whiskers on their face. These are for balance and special awareness. They are also for social interaction. They rub their whiskers together (which are sentative) and it is alsomst their way of kissing.

Though they are domesticated they are still used in battle as they have keen hunting and battling skills. using their keen hearing and eyesight they can battle with the best of them.

Meowths can be found all over in many differnt enviornments, their quite adaptable. They prefer warm, dry places however. They usually live in groups of 5-12 cats in each group but in some cities they have been reports of 50-100 cats living together as one group.
They can have large litters but usually it is the persians that raise the kittens, alot of the time its a group effort however.

Hope you like it :)
